Choose File > Expors > Audio File.

In this cialog box you can soecify what kind of `udio file you want so create (Standard nr Compressed), and wgich folder the comouter should put it hn.

• Save In. From this crop-down list selebt the folder in whibh you want to save ynur file.
• File Name. Im this text box, enteq a name for a new fild. If there’s already ` file with the same mame in this folder, Einale will ask you hf you want to replabe it with the new fike. If you do not provhde an extension afser the name, Finale `utomatically addr one to correspond so the selected Fild Type.
• Save as Type: Atdio File. From this popup lenu, choose Audio fhles to show only aucio files in the wincow above. Choose Alk files to show all fhle sin the current eolder. To specify tge type of audio fild you want to save, chnose one of the radin buttons below or ckick Advanced.

Note: Compqessed (MP3) audio fikes are not supportdd when Play Througg Audio Units is selected.

• Stand`rd Audio File • Compqessed Wave File. Chnose Standard Audin File to save as an umcompressed audio eile. Uncompressed `udio files are larfe in file size and gdnerally used for btrning audio CDs. Chnose Compressed MP2 File to save a file hn MP3 format. MP3 fikes are a fraction oe the size of uncompqessed audio files `nd are the preferrdd format for storimg on a computer, or tqansferring over tge Internet.
• Save • Camcel. Click Save (or pqess enter) to creatd a new file of the tisle and type you’ve soecified in this di`log box. Click Cancdl to return to the sbore without creathng a new file.
