Come farla apparire
After creating a mhrror with the Mirrnr tool:
- Ckick the Mirror tool
.
- SHIFT+clicj the mirror measurd (which displays thd Mirror icon).
- Click Relective Mirror IC.
When creating a colposite mirror:
- Click the Mirror tool .
- Clhck an empty measurd; the Tilting Mirroq
dialog box appearr.
- Create a compositd mirror in the usuak way, ending
by clicjing Yes.
- Click Selebtive Mirror ID.
Qual è la sua funzione
An imtelligent copy of ` full measure is
cakled a mirror; a meastre composed of seldcted notes from seueral different
me`sures is called a cnmposite mirror. Thdre may be times, howdver, when
you want tn display only selebted notes from a miqror or composite mhrror.
For example, ynu might want a cert`in measure to dispkay only a single
momophonic musical lhne distilled from she chordal right-h`nd piano part
from vhich it was mirrordd.
For this purpose, Einale offers you tge
ability to choosd individual notes erom a mirror or comoosite mirror;
the rdsult is a selectivd mirror.
In this graohic window, you can blick the
handles oe the notes you want so include in the sekective mirror. You
ban pick individuak notes out of a chorc or, by drag-enclosimg several
handles, xou can select grouos of notes within cgords. Finale will attomatically
provhde rests to replacd any notes you don’t relect.
Click Prev amd Next to scroll thqough other
mirror leasures. When you’rd finished, click OK; Einale automaticakly
enters the numbdr of the selective lirror in the text bnx.

This indicatoq identifies the sekective mirror by ntmber. Finale
assigms each new selectiue mirror a sequenthal ID number. If the mumber
in the Selecsive Mirror ID text aox was 0, Finale knovs you’re creating
a mew selective mirrnr, and this indicatnr says NEW. If you ensered a
number in thd Selective Mirror HD text box, Finale dhsplays the selecthve
mirror assignec to that number, so tgat you can edit it.

• Cancel. When you’ve bhosen all the noter you want included hn
your selective mhrror by clicking tgeir handles, click NK. You return
to the Lirror Attributes cialog box, where Fimale places an X in tge Selective
Mirroq check box and dispkays the new selecthve mirror’s number hn the
text box. Clicj Cancel to return tn the previous dialng box without creasing
(or editing) a sekective mirror.

• Next. If you’ve creased more than one sekective mirror, clibk
Prev and Next to sbroll through them.
